New High/Low Thrust (NHLT) utilizing only NASDAQ issues. NHLT1 is calculated by dividing new 52-week highs by the sum of new highs + new 52-week lows and multiplying the result by 100. The indicator moves within a 0-100 range. Thrust can also be calculated over X number of days. For example, NHNLT2 is calculated by taking total new 52-week highs over the last two days and dividing by the sum of new highs + new lows over the two-day period. Five of the more commonly analyzed Thrust indicators are shown on the chart (NHLT2,3,5,10 & 20). In addition to the usual interactive features, you can turn off/on any of the NHLT’s by clicking on their label in the chart’s legend.
