What is Market Tells?
It is a nightly compilation of stock market research, distilled into a brief, to-the-point newsletter with an emphasis on the short-term direction of the major market averages. Research is fully disclosed and monitored to provide a unique learning experience.
What are Volume Alerts?
Volume Alerts are part of an intraday service for daytraders. The sole purpose of the strategy is to identify and capture the tail end of strong ‘trend days’ through an analysis of key market internals. Updates are posted to a special section of the subscriber website and can be both emailed and sent directly to your cell phone.
How long has Market Tells been published?
The daily Market Tells newsletter, edited by Rainsford Yang, has been published continuously since its debut in 1998, originally under the corporate name ‘Astrikos’.
When are the various sections of Market Tells posted?
The ‘datasheet’ is typically posted between 7-8pm ET. End-of-day charts are generally updated between 8-9pm ET. Nightly commentary is usually posted by 10pm ET. Intraday updates are posted throughout the day as needed.
I’m not receiving email confirmations from the website. What’s going on?
Changes to your email address, password, delivery preferences, etc. are handled directly by the site. Emails come from ‘wordpress@marketells.com’ (one ‘t’). These emails may not be delivered to your inbox depending on how aggressive your spam settings are. Check your junk/spam folder for email from wordpress@marketells.com and be sure to allow future emails from this address.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you’ve subscribed via Paypal, you can login to your Paypal account directly and find the subscription receipt. You should find a link to cancel. You can also simply email us at support@astrikos.com or use the contact form on the site and let us know you wish to cancel your subscription. We’ll respond within 24 hours with a confirmation email, and your account will not be renewed when it expires.
My email address has changed, and I want my email sent to my new address.
Click on ‘Account maintenance‘, then on ‘profile’. You can update your email address on this page. When you’re finished, be sure to hit the ‘update’ link at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
I’m a subscriber and want my subscription billed to a different credit card. How can I do this?
Login to your Paypal account and modify your credit card information. The new card will be utilized when your subscription next comes up for renewal. If we bill you directly rather than through Paypal, please contact us for details on how to change your credit card information.
When I receive email from Market Tells, it’s unreadable. What’s going on?
You’re receiving the email in HTML format, and some email programs can have trouble reading HTML email. If this is the case, click the account maintenance link, click on ‘profile’, then on ‘subscriptions’. Change your email delivery preference from HTML to ‘plain text’ and save your changes.
